My name is Tyler Dunnahoo. After living in Austin for about ten years I left my job and lifestyle to teach in my hometown of Roswell, NM. I have dabbled in journalism, collage, experimental music (lol), film, and other wastes of time. The only thing that really made sense to me is music, food, and the pleasures and mysteries of being alive. I look forward to chilling out as often as I can. Thanks for listening!

Mi nombre es Tyler Dunnahoo. Después de vivir en Austin durante unos diez años, dejé mi trabajo y mi estilo de vida para enseñar en mi ciudad natal de Roswell, Nuevo México. Italian vaporwave with textures as elusive and fluid as the city its named after. “運命の歌” translates to The Schicksalslied, an orchestra piece composed by Joseph Brahms which sounds nothing like what Coldvenice is going for here. If you like water, take a dive into coldvenice.

Midwestern free-punkers sing a tune about having fun in a place similar to a prison. It isn’t clear where they’re at exactly but judging from the vibe of the tune its hopefully a lot different than an actual prison. The self titled album this track comes from is a modern garage punk classic.

Once I went through Gulfport, MS and saw a bathroom tag that read HEAVEN OR MISSISSIPPI? Personally I can’t answer this question but I think I can answer a more important question: MSPAINT OR MISSISSIPPI? I choose both. This band takes a great artistic device and combines it with an even greater platform than Microsoft: the state of Mississippi. The best art never forgets its home.

Recorded during the novel year of 2020 in the city of Atlanta, Cul de Sac is about the existential dread one experiences of being stuck in an endless suburban neighborhood on the decline. Remain Intact is a concept album about not losing your shit in times of crisis and it is one of the most inspiring pieces of music I’ve heard lately.

Spiritual Mafia are a supergroup of superstars from Down Under who write songs about taking baths, doing yoga, and dining at hip urban restaurants over riffs that sound like Flipper and 90s nu-metal turntable scratches. Hybrid Animal is a surreal portrait of a dude talking about some mutant creature trying to escape his body, however.

Low Life write tunes about coming from the gutter and coming out on top. Although Sydney is often touted as one of the world’s most livable cities, it has a reputation for criminality and depravity, and has gotten comparisons to cities like Calcutta, Albuquerque, Bogota, and Jerusalem. This is a tune about agony and ecstasy that only the finest sons and daughters from a place that understands both could produce.

Parche completo Pure Data descargable, incluye varias GUI.
En este video tutorial explico brevemente cómo podemos diseñar y generar una GUI o interfaz gráfica de control de usuario personalizada en Pure Data mediante la utilización de un archivo .GIF y los componentes que el propio puredata nos provee.
En este caso, nuestra GUI nos sirve para controlar un weird paint sampler desarrollado por weird electronics cuyo funcionamiento total se compone de varios sub-parches localizados en el archivo descargable motor.pd.
Comienzo explicando brevemente de que se compone este archivo, sus diferentes subpatches y funciones de cada sector.
Por ejemplo el sector que se encarga de hacer que el LED titile en rojo y blanco como indicador de “estar grabando” o la instancia que recibe las dimensiones del array según la duración que le asignamos a nuestro sample desde el numberbox de nuestra GUI.
Luego explico como cargar una imagen .GIF en puredata mediante la utilización del objeto “iem_image” y la instalación y declaración de la librería correspondiente.
Luego comienzo a realizar la conexión entre la GUI y el motor, mediante la colocación de SEND y RECEIVE internos y externos en los objetos que vamos creando y colocando sobre la imagen en nuestra GUI.
Seguido de una breve demostración de que efectivamente el coneccionado está funcionando y se acuerdo a la duración del sample asignada obtenemos la visualización de la grabación en nuestro array y la reproducimos con la posibilidad de octavar cada unas de las notas que agregamos utilizando el octavador o la función “octavador” incluida también dentro del parche general.

Shis unusual es un proyecto ruidista industrial bailable dedicado a la fabricación de ritmos y sonidos mediante la utilización de instrumentos auto construidos.
Destràs de Shis Unusual se encuentra Micaela Perez. Una artista multidisciplinaria, técnica y desarrolladora electrónica local.
Su fuerte es la síntesis sonora electrónica y el desarrolo de herramientas dentro del area de la tecnología musical pero entre sus obras podemos encontrar desde colecciones virtuales de imágenes conceptuales y ediciones físicas de narrativas con lenguaje técnico hasta varias composiciones audiovisuales.
Actualmente trabaja en el desarrollo de herramientas hìbridas (software y hardware) dedicadas a la producción audiovisual y al arte electrónico de sistemas en su propia cooperativa creativa: Weird Electronics.
Weird electronics es un proyecto que busca expandir los límites del desarrollo electronico híbrido de herramientas de creación audiovisual a través de la investigación y combinación de múltiples disciplinas ligadas al arte y la ciencia.
Una industria cooperativa comunicada con la producción de conocimiento.
Desplazando el área de desarrollo hacia un ámbito de conexión, relación e intercambio, nutriendo así, la dimensión industrial del proyecto.

Downloadable Pure Data full patch, includes various GUIs.
In this video tutorial I briefly explain how we can design and generate a custom GUI or graphical user interface in Pure Data by using a .GIF file and the components that Pure Data provides.
In this case, our GUI helps us to control a weird paint sampler developed by weird electronics, the total operation of which is made up of several sub-patches located in the downloadable file motor.pd.
I begin by briefly explaining what this file is made of, its different sub-patches and functions of each sector.
For example, the sector that is responsible for making the LED blink in red and white as an indicator of “recording” or the instance that receives the dimensions of the array according to the duration that we assign to our sample from the numberbox of our GUI.
Then I explain how to load a .GIF image in Pure Data by using the “iem_image” object and the installation and declaration of the corresponding library.
Then I start to make the connection between the GUI and the engine, by placing internal and external SEND and RECEIVE in the objects that we are creating and placing on the image in our GUI.
Followed by a brief demonstration that indeed the connected one is working and according to the assigned sample duration, we obtain the visualization of the recording in our array and we reproduce it with the possibility of octaving each of the notes we add using the octave or the “octaver” function also included within the general patch.

Shis unusual is a danceable industrial noise project dedicated to the manufacture of rhythms and sounds through the use of self-made instruments.
Behind Shis Unusual is Micaela Perez. A multidisciplinary artist and mechnical electronic developer.
Her strength is electronic sound synthesis and the development of tools within the musical technology area, but among her works we can find virtual collections of conceptual images and physical editions of narratives with technical language as well as various audiovisual compositions.
She currently works in the development of hybrid tools (software and hardware) dedicated to audiovisual production and electronic systems art in her own creative cooperative: Weird Electronics.
Weird electronics is a project that seeks to expand the limits of hybrid electronic development of audiovisual creation tools through the investigation and combination of multiple disciplines linked to art and science.

Taco Guillen is a singer for band ¿LA PREGUNTA?, ARGUMENT?POLLUTION, a dancer at club sCum, and has recently started his own cleaning services called: Aftermath Punk Cleaning Services.
“To anyone wanting to be a part of the community, I suggest to come in with good intentions, be friendly and respectful to others, and get familiarized with those around you. Make conversations and look within yourself of what you can bring to the table such as: art, making music, hosting, vending, participating in events, and uplifting others. Try to steer away from drama when recognized because it really is not worth your energy. But, most importantly, just be yourself.”

Drive Safe
Drive Safe is an act of care—through longing, catharsis, flirtation, militancy. Eastside gift rap. Drive Safe is when the undefinable spits out moments of clarity through homemade words and sounds. Tryna make home for our ancestors and futures. Hip hop is their gender, marooning is their genre, dreaming is their practice. They have hella names. Drive Safe. Basically all love songs, if we're being honest.
This set was performed with a Roland SP404, acoustic guitar, and vocals, recorded into Logic Pro into a laptop. The space—the carport in front of my house—was lit by the sunset, thank you to David for assisting with sound. This performance was featured at the 4th edition of the Rhymin’ Drive-In series for the Museum of Human Achievements summer program Unpaved Paradise. Shot and edited by Jay Roff-Garcia.

Drive Safe es un acto de carino, a través del anhelo, la catarsis, el coqueteo, y la militancia. Gift rap del lado este. Drive Safe es cuando lo indefinible escupe momentos de claridad a través de palabras y sonidos caseros. Tratando formar un hogar para nuestros antepasados y futuros. El hip hop es su género, el abandono es su género, el soñar es su práctica. Tienen muchos nombres. Conduce con cuidado. Básicamente todas las canciones de amor, si somos honestos.
Este set se realizó con una Roland SP404, guitarra acústica y voz, grabada en Logic Pro en una computadora portátil. El espacio, la cochera frente a mi casa, estaba iluminada por la puesta de sol, gracias a David por ayudarme con el sonido.
